Excited to announce that as of January 2026 I am a contributing writer to the Adirondack Explorer/Almanack/Backcountry Journal. Adirondack Explorer is an independent publication dedicated to in-depth reporting, storytelling, and investigative journalism about the Adirondack Park. It covers conservation, recreation, community life, and the people shaping the region—past, present, and future.

Outdoors with Jenn is about staying curious, choosing the longer trail, and continuing to explore—no matter your age or experience.

I write about outdoor adventures and the places that shape me, from the Adirondacks and Finger Lakes of New York to my travels across the U.S. and Europe. These stories are rooted in landscape, but they’re really about movement, discovery, and paying attention along the way.

Alongside my own experiences, I share stories of people who are quietly or boldly stretching themselves through adventure, endurance, and curiosity.

My hope is simple: to inspire you to come along—to wander farther, try something new, and see what might be waiting just ahead.
